GLIMPSES OF MUSICAL EVENING

Dear All,

Here are the glimpses and write up of the musical evening (courtesy Premal Smart).

"I am pleased to report that the Musical Evening dedicated to our Parents & Elders as part of Rotary Family Month celebration was a grand success. Rotarians, Parents, Guests, IYE Team.. all together we were 68 members.

Elders, Rotarians and Young ones all thoroughly enjoyed it. Every one danced with equal enthusiasm and welcomed the New Year with Joy & Happiness.

As an additional flavor, we had with us IYE team from Malaysia under the Leadership of Rtn. Pushpa Krishna. We all had a great time with this kids and I sure they will take back home melodious memories of India.

We also had the pleasure of 4 prospective Rotarians, who has shown keen inclination to become part of the RCBM Family.

I would also like to share some of the good news with the club:

1. Our Annet Dharini Chetan Somani has stood 1st in the category of Solo Classical Dance performance in all the 3 Zones of Dist. 3060 and she would be performing at the Dist. Conference Ananya, Bharuch on 8th January, 2011.

2. Vice President Rtn. Utkarsh Hathi has become the President of Jaycee Metropolitan for the year 2011.

Hearty Congratulations to both of them.

Attached are the few glimpses of the Musical Evening to savor the happy moments and for the benefit of members who could not make it."

GLIMPSES OF FELLOWSHIP & SERVICE AT AHWA, DANGS

Dear Friends,

Camp at Ahwa, Dangs was phenomenal due to synergy between RCBM and RC Vapi. More than 300 patients turned up in 2 days time. Can you believe, they were picked up from their homes in 36 jeeps over 2 days and went back home happy (most of them, except those who could not be helped like Cerebral Palsy and Paraplegesics). RCBM clan enjoyed this trip as it was full of fellowship and excellent service. Memorable moments were lunch enroute, beauty of Dangs, Antakshari at night and of course the unique fellowship intermingled with tremendous satisfaction of service. Kudos to Rtn. Ramesh Kaka, Praful Dewani, Dr. Vikas Jain, Dr. Akhilesh and many friends from Vapi who did everything to make everyone comfortable. Truly it was a tall order, which they did with smile on their face.

Those who could not come, please have a look at the pictures and be ready FOR THE NEXT CAMP.

The photos are divided into three parts - (1) Natural Beauty of Dangs, (2) Fellowship Moments and (3) Service Opportunity.
