ATMANIRBHAR CAMP - MEHAMDABAD

Dear Friends,

Kindly go through the pictures to know about Atmanirbhar Camp organized with the help of RC Mehamdabad. They had gone all out and covered 40 villages. Handbills, brochures and mouth-to-mouth publicity did wonders!
The following Members of RCBM were present:
(1). President.Rtn.Premal Smart, (2) Hon.Sec.Mitesh Bhatt (3) Rtn. Nileshbhai Patel, (4) Rtn.Rajan Bhatt, (5) Rtn.P.S.Grower, (6) Rtn. Manisha Bhatt, (7) Rtn. Himansu Rana, (8) Rtn. Hansaben Patel, (9) Rtn.Vijay Bhatt, (10) IPP Dr. Sharmishtha Desai and (11) PDG Dr. Manoj Desai.
Total Number of patients examined and catered to - 183 (On Saturday there were about 120 patients and on Sunday there were 63 patients). Dr.Manoj Desai saw more than 45 patients and Rtn. Manisha Bhatt saw more than 16 patients of various disabilities and gave guidance. 3 patients have been selected for operation.
Pictures would show you new ideas about fellowship over breakfast on the highway and enjoying Chaas at Amul Counter. In the 21st century these are the new fellowships that we are embarking upon.
Regarding the patients, let me be a bit serious as far as patients and Project is concerned as well as experience shared by all. It was a grand success. Stories that our picture tells can bring tears on any onlookers' eyes. It gave tremendous job satisfaction to those who attended. Rotary Club of Mehamdabad has got two Rotarians affected by polio who were so much touched. Chairman Vipul and other Rotarians told me their expression in the following words:
"(1) I had a dream to organize a mega camp. With your help I have fulfilled this dream today.
(2) I had tears in my eyes to see the plight of patients and to be worthy of being a Rotarian
(3) If this is Rotary, I am all for it. Thank you for your help.
(4) Can't we have this meaningful activity every year?"
It was note-worthy that Assistant Governor Hiren shukla remained present all throughout the camp. Kudos to President Dhiren Shah, Secretary Harshidaben and both Vipuls for the painstaking efforts and the wonderful arrangements.
It is a life changing experience friends. The photo of smiling girl - she came to us in crawling position and had never walked in life. After proper analysis and right kind of calipers she walked and Rotarians clapped. That brought smile on her face as new life - human life begins.
DO NOT FORGET - Next BoD Meeting (only for Board of Directors) at Ashish & Rachna Garg's home at 8.00 p.m. on 31st August.

Bulletin Editor.

Can you image Vitamin D deficiency in 21st century?
